The US Issue with Online Gambling
Online gambling is something that is catching the fancy of many people these days. With more and more people hopping online for gambling and trying to make money, it is but natural that there would be some legal issues involved. In fact many of the states in the US have specific laws governing online gambling. If one were to talk about the US issue with online gambling, it would naturally start with the different rules prevailing in different states governing them. A vast majority of the states in the US though do not grant licenses for starting such websites.
The US issue with online gambling that has been making headlines in recent times has been the concern that these gaming sources could be leading to money laundering. The suspicion is fuelled by the anonymous nature of the World Wide Web. In fact it is very difficult to trace online money what with the use of encryption these days. This state is perhaps having the strictest rules against online gambling in the entire US. One also cannot but talk about many banks making transactions to and from online gambling websites illegal. All in all, the US issue with online gambling is something that is predicted to remain in headlines for at least a few years to come, till all the issues are sorted out.
