Texas hold'em
In this game each player gets 2 cards at the beginning from the dealer. In the left side of the dealer sits the small blind (or blind) and to his left sits the big blind. The blinds are bets that are made without players having seen the cards in order to create the first chips in the pot.
Now each player has 3 options:
CALL – Join the game by matching the big blind amount. RAISE – increase the bet, or FOLD – put your cards back to the dealer and play only next round.
After all players has "spoken" the dealer deal 3 cards, face up. This call 'FLOP'. Now each player needs to make his strongest hand using any combination of the FLOP and/or the cards in his hands.
Now each player has again 3 options:
CHECK – Stays in the game but doesn’t raise the pot amount. RAISE – increase the bet, or FOLD – put your cards back to the dealer and play only next round.
When all players have spoken, the dealer deals the TURN card – 4th card with its face up. Again all players need to CHECK, RAISE, or FOLD.
At this point the dealer deals the 5th card, the RIVER and the players can CHECK, RAISE, or FOLD.
If, after the final round of betting after the river, there are two or more people left in the pot, all players must show their cards. The player with the strongest hand using the five strongest cards wins the pot.
